The Enemy

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.

I Peter 5:8 

If you are struggling in life know that the enemy is close at hand ready to put lies in your head, to discourage you and to tell you that you are not loved.

I have been hit hard by the enemy trying to destroy me. Don't think for a moment that you or someone you know that does not serve the Lord daily are safe because you are not.

When you gave your heart to Christ you are a target. Just because you don't go out and preach the Gospel does not mean you are safe

Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world.

I Peter 5:9 

The enemy is a Liar, he is crafty, a deceiver, and a schemer. He comes at times when you least expect it. One day you can be having a great day worshiping the Lord and the next day your life is turned upside down.

How do you stop him? You can't not in this life time anyway. Please whatever you do always continue to pray, stay in the word, put on the Armor of God daily and most of all ask a close friend to check in on you daily making you accountable for what you do. 

Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

Ephesians 6:11

Please know this, you have a loving Father who loves you so much he is able to help you if you let him and yes depend on him and not yourself. The flesh is weak but the spirit is willing 

Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.

James 4:7 

Thank you heavenly Father for providing the tools to help us in our battle to survive the enemy attacks that come our way daily. We know we can always depend and rely on you for our help because you will never leave us or forsake us. In Jesus name amen
